Corporate Volunteering at FareShare
We’re thrilled to announce the success of our recent corporate volunteering experience at FareShare, Australia’s largest charity kitchen. Our team, guided by FareShare’s expert chefs, worked together to prepare, cook, and pack over 489 nutritious meals, supporting 1,467 people in need. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who dedicated their time and effort. Your generosity has made a lasting impact and highlighted the power of collective action.
Launch of the Zero Barriers Project
The MPN is excited to announce the launch of The Zero Barriers project, aimed at tackling workforce disparities and creating new opportunities. The first phase, our "Break into Tech" programme, offers targeted scholarships for technology education. In partnership with SkillCrush New York, this comprehensive training equips talent with essential tech skills for success in specialised tech courses and career paths. Our Founder Wins Game Changer Award
We are thrilled to announce that our Founder, Nora Fraser, has been named the QLD & NT Business for Good Game Changer Award winner in the Social Enterprise category. GALA DInner
On Saturday, June 22, 2024, we proudly hosted our Gala Dinner, a resounding success that united a diverse group of professionals and featured our Professional Impact Awards presentation. We raised an outstanding $685 for our social impact programme and extend heartfelt thanks to all attendees, sponsors, and partners whose support made this event possible. Special thanks to Councillor Vicki Howard, representing The Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Councillor Adrian Schrinner, for her inspiring welcome address. ANNUAL NETWORKING FORUM
On Monday 18 March 2023, we hosted our Annual Networking Forum featuring our exceptional guest speakers, Sheetal Deo and Allana Bianchi! Sheetal's discussion on workplace inclusivity and equality deeply resonated with us, while Allana's insights into the legislative changes to the Public Sector Act 2022 were invaluable. On Friday 17 March 2023, we hosted our Annual Networking Forum. It was a great night bringing together a number of professionals, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing guest speaker, Sheetal Deo. Her session on the importance of diversity, inclusion, psychological safety, and wellbeing in the workplace was incredibly informative and inspiring.
