Welcome to our Social Impact section, where our commitment to creating positive change is at the forefront of everything we do. Each year, The MPN nominates a focused charity to support our social impact initiatives, ensuring that our efforts are continually aligned with our vision to foster positive change and create a more equitable and sustainable future for all. With a strong emphasis on evidence and data-driven decision-making, our donations are strategically directed towards charities that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These organisations are not only dedicated to addressing pressing societal issues but have also been empirically recognised by external charity evaluators for their exceptional effectiveness in driving meaningful change. Currently, our recipient charities include:
Proceeds from our 2023 Gala Dinner benefitted The Smith Family's mission to support disadvantaged children through their innovative learning support and mentoring programs. These programs play a vital role in empowering children to overcome educational barriers and build brighter futures for themselves. The success of the Gala Dinner was a testament to the power of collective action and the spirit of giving back to the community. Through events like these, we can continue to support initiatives that create lasting change and opportunities for a brighter future for all
"A big thank you for your incredible support through your Gala Dinner to help Australian children overcome educational inequality caused by poverty, so that they can thrive now and into their futures. Thank you so much! Your incredible efforts have helped 1,096 children through The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program, providing practical, educational and financial assistance, helping to create a world where every child has the opportunity to change their future. Thank you once again for your support this year. We couldn't continue the work we do without you" - The Smith Family [Community Fundraising Team]
